Pyramids Special Needs Program

Jodi has been involved in the cheerleading industry for 17 years. In 2003 Jodi started a Special needs cheerleading program for the Tomahawks, a special needs hockey team sponsored by the Chicago Blackhawk’s. In April of 2004, she started working for cheergyms.com in Concord, California. With cheergyms.com Jodi has served as a Program Director, led Public Relations and Marketing for the company, in addition to being a coach of several national champions. Jodi started the first Special Needs team at cheergyms.com in Northern California in 2005 which has set the precedent for other Special Needs programs in the area. Jodi also continues to promote the growth of Special Needs teams throughout California and the country.

Jodi is AACCA certified and United States All Star Federation certified for pyramids/stunting, tosses and tumbling in levels 1-5. She is a current member of the Golden State Spirit Association and United States All Star Federation Special Committee, which exists to ensure that all Special Needs programs throughout the United States conform to uniform guidelines and standards.

Jodi has acted as a judge for tryouts and competitions of local Pop Warner, school programs, and all star teams in Illinois, Arizona, and California. She has also conducted choreography for the teams she as coached in addition to many local teams throughout Illinois and California. Jodi continues to work with local teams during the season and the off season to ensure the athletes stay active and continue to develop their skills.
